Shilluk is a Nilo-Saharan language spoken by about 175,000 people in
southern Sudan. It is also known as Chollo, Chulla, Colo, Dhocolo and
Shulla, and is closely related to Dholuo. Shilluk speakers live along
the western and eastern bank of the Nile around the city of Malakal.

Shilluk is written with an orthography developed by missionaries
during the early 20th century.
