Hylian alphabet  

Like the other two Hylian Scripts, the Hylian Alphabet was created to be
used in the immensely popular video game series known as the Legend of Zelda.
Specifically, it was used in the two versions of the game The Legend of Zelda:
Twilight Princess. Like the other two Hylian scripts, this alphabet was created
by an unknown graphics artist at Nintendo, though probably not the same one
that created the other two, because while the other two were created using
elements of the Hirigana and Katakana Japanese Syllabaries, this was based
directly on the Latin Alphabet, and it bears no resemblance to the other two.
In fact, it is simply a different way to write in English, just as the
Ancient and Modern Hylian
Syllabaries are alternate ways to write Japanese.

Notable features

• This script is made up of the 26 letters of the Latin Alphabet. As for
  punctuation, it includes a period, a comma, a colon, and a semicolon that
  are identical to their English counterparts, as well as an exclamation
  point that looks very similar to the letter J.
• This alphabet is written from left to right in horizontal lines.
• Words are spaced apart, but in some inscriptions the individual letters are
  spaced apart, equidistant from each other.

Used to write

Hylian, which in this game, unlike in all others, is a form
of English, not Japanese.

are used for writing from right to left.
