From this page you can settle a quote or an invoice from MMW Traduzioni by credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, from any country and at any time. The payment takes place on a secure page operated by Stripe, the system used by the main international platforms: your card details do not pass through our site and are not stored by the firm. You receive the receipt by email immediately and we receive confirmation of the payment, so that your file proceeds without delay.
Card payment
Enter the amount shown on your quote or invoice, your name and the reference number of your file. The amount is the final one, VAT included, in euros.
How it works
- You receive from us the quote or the invoice with the amount to pay.
- You click Pay now by card and enter the exact amount, in euros.
- You enter your name, your email and, in the dedicated field, the number of the quote or invoice, so that the payment is matched to your file at once. If you pay on behalf of a company you can enter its name and VAT number.
- You pay with Visa, Mastercard or American Express, or with Apple Pay or Google Pay from your phone.
- You receive the receipt by email. The invoice is sent to you by the firm as usual.
Who it is for
Card payment is the simplest solution for clients abroad who do not hold a euro account: a client in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia or South America pays in a few seconds in their own currency, at the exchange rate applied by their bank, without the fees and delays of an international transfer. It is also useful for clients in Italy who want to close the file at once, for instance when a sworn translation is urgent and delivery depends on payment.
Other ways to pay
Bank transfer remains available, to the account shown on the quote and the invoice, as does payment at the office by card or cash within the legal limits when collecting documents by appointment. For larger amounts or for procedures that run in stages, such as the recognition of a foreign qualification, the quote states whether a deposit is due at the start and the balance on delivery: both can be paid from this page by entering the amount due each time.
Security and confidentiality
The payment page is operated by Stripe Payments Europe, an electronic money institution authorised in the European Union and certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest standard for card data. MMW Traduzioni receives only the confirmation of payment with your name, email and amount, and neither sees nor stores your card number. Transactions are protected by the strong customer authentication required by European payment rules, so your bank may ask you to confirm through its app or a code. Personal data are processed in accordance with our privacy notice.
Frequently asked questions
Can I pay in pounds, dollars or another currency?
The amount is entered in euros, the currency of the quote. Your card is charged in the currency of your account at the rate applied by the issuing bank, with no additional cost from us.
Is the Stripe receipt an invoice?
No. The receipt proves the payment. The invoice is issued by the firm with the details you gave us with the quote and sent to you by email, or through the Italian electronic invoicing system if you hold an Italian VAT number.
What happens if I enter the wrong amount?
Write to us quoting the number of the quote. If you paid too much we refund the difference to the same card. If you paid too little we send you a link for the balance.
Is there a surcharge for paying by card?
No. The amount of the quote is the same whichever method of payment you choose. The service fees are borne by the firm.
Can I pay before receiving a quote?
Better not. The amount to enter is the one on the written quote, which you receive by sending us the document through the quote request form, by email or on WhatsApp. A payment made without a quote is recorded anyway and, if the amount does not match, the firm adjusts or refunds the difference.
