Godgul & Sungul
Godgul and Sungul are alternative alphabets for English, Korean, Chinese,
Japanese, French and German invented by Kim Godgul. These alphabets are based
on Korean hangul with a number of extra letters, and
are designed to be
In Korean, gul (글) means text, script, sentence, word, letters,
god is an old word for flower (꽃), and sun (순) has
a number of meanings, including innocense, mild, smooth, and pure.
Notable features
- Written in horizontal lines from left to right or vertically in
columns running from right to left. - Type of writing system: alphabet
- Used to write: English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, French and German.
Will be adapted for other languages, such as Arabic, Russian, Spanish and Czech,
in the future.
