Cyrillish

Notes

  • Ф only used in place of В in words such as “of”.
  • Ж only used in place of Ы in words such as “Hallelujah”.
  • Һ must not be written as Н, and vice versa to avoid confusion.
  • Other sounds; like ng, sh, ch, etc., are formed by combining letters.
For example, ng is нг, ch is чһ.
  • Ә represents Æ, and is used in words like “encyclopædia”.
“Encyclopædia” is thus written as “Энчычлопәдиа”.
  • Ќ should be written properly so as to avoid confusion with К.
