Sakao

Sakao is spoken by about 4,000 people on the island of Espiritu
Santo in Vanuatu. It is a member of the Santo subgroup of the Oceanic
branch of the Malayo-Polynesian languages and is closely related to
Tolomako, though the two languages are mutually unintelligible. Sakao
speakers call their island Laðhi.
