Orgom Silawa

Orgom Silawa is a language and alphabet invented by Neal Wiley for his
own amusement and for artistic purposes (as well as an exercise in logic).
The alphabet is modeled (quite loosely) on the Glagolitic alphabet, used
for writing Old Slavonic.

Notable features

  • Type of writing system: alphabet
  • Direction of writing: left to right in horizontal lines.
  • Used to write: Orgom Silawa
  • Each of the five vowels may be modified by a circular accent marker
    which denotes a long vowel.
  • Seven of the seventeen consonants may be modified by attaching a
‘flag’ to the right side of the letter. This denotes aspiration, as
    in ‘s’–>’sh,’ etc.
  • There are no distinct capital forms, or punctuation, other than
    a full stop.
