井卜文 (Jǐngbǔ script)

The Jǐngbǔ script is a writing system created in 2005
by 殷慈遠 (Yin Ciyuan) to write a Chinese.
The shapes of the letters and the way they fit together is based on
Korean hangul, while the sound system is based on bopomofo.

Notable features

  • Direction of writing: left to right in horizontal lines
  • Letters are grouped together into syllables consisting of an initial
    and/or a final, and a tone marker. There is also a symbol to show that
    syllables are repeated
  • The letters can be combined together in various ways, as shown below

殷慈遠的井卜文簡介

這套文字是由Jingbu在2005年創造。當時因為喜歡上韓文字,便決定以韓文字為基礎,創造一套用來書寫中文的字。這套文字是以bopomofo的符號轉換而成。這套文字較為特殊的地方,在於它也將聲韻轉換為字的一部分,而且也有一些中文特殊的口語助詞(如:啊、吧、嗎、了......)。另外,還有兩個符號ㄱ、ㅁ,分別表示此字重複一次和疑問詞。

Rénrén shēng ér
zìyóu, zài zūnyán hé quánlì
shàng yīlǜ píngdĕng. Tāmen
fùyŏu lĭxìng hé liángxīn,
bìng yīng yĭ xīongdì guānxì
de jīngshén hùxiāng dùidài.

Translation

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They
are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another
in a spirit of brotherhood.
