The Inspired alphabet was invented by Bob Weiland in October, 2006.
He called the script “inspired” because the entire script was completed
in two minutes.

Notable features

  • It is written from left to right in horizontal lines.
  • Each letter has two forms: one is for normal use; the other is
    used at the end of words, which is simply the normal letter with a
    loop at the end.
  • It is used to write English.
  • It is a cursive script.
  • Each consonant is represented by one vertical line, either curved
    or straight, with or without a hook.
  • Generally, the letters whose cursive connector is attached to the
    top of the letter are voiced consonants.
  • Generally, the letters whose cursive connector is attached to the
    bottom of the letter are unvoiced.
  • The vowels are written as diacritical marks under the consonant.
  • It is fast and easy to learn.
