Eganes   

Eganes is the creation of Matt Cheetham, a writer and a student of Maths at
Manchester University, England. It is the script for an invented language of
the same name.

Notable features

• Eganes is read left to right.
• The most curious aspect of the script is that all of the consonants
  represent two or more phenomes, but native readers can tell how words
  are pronounced by context.
• The grid script is based on CV syllables. The shapes of the characters
  are based on the handwritten shapes, but confined into a square template.
  They are connected together in rows of equal length. The characters “wrap”
  to these rows so that words can begin at the end of one row and end at
  the beginning of the next. The last row is usually centred.
• The grid script is intended to be a script designed by the Eganes after
  the invention of computers, and can be read by proficient users in blocks
  rather than lines.
